Training Overview
By the end of the session, participants should be able to:
- Understand the respective roles of HR and Finance in managing employee-related processes.
- Identify key compliance areas involving payroll, leave, employee records, and statutory deductions.
- Apply the correct principles when handling salary components, allowances, deductions, unpaid leave, overtime, and final pay.
- Improve accuracy in statutory processing such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB/MTD-related items.
- Recognise common year-end and monthly payroll mistakes that may create issues in reporting and employee trust.
- Handle common employee movement scenarios such as new joiners, resignations, terminations, bonus payments, claims, and foreign employee cases.
- Strengthen coordination between HR and Finance through clearer workflow, documentation, and checking points.
- Build a practical internal control mindset to reduce risk, rework, and compliance gaps.
